Pace, John Hardison and Pauline Ann Bryner

John Hardison PACE came through HITR and two weeks later wrote his name here. His Mother was a Redd. Her brother was Lemuel H. Redd. The photo was taken by Lynn and Lorraine Laws January 2018.  "We thought it [the inscription] was very interesting and I did some research on J.H .Pace. He was 24 married and had a 1 girl child."

John Hardison PACE was born 1 NOV 1856 in Spanish Fork, Utah, Utah.  His parents were Harvey Alexander PACE and Ann Elizabeth REDD.  She was the daughter of John Hardison REDD and Elizabeth HANCOCK. She was five years older than her famous brother Lemuel Harison Redd Sr.  Ann Elizabeth REDD was born 16 DEC 1831 in Sneed's Ferry, Onslow, North Carolina and died 4 MAY 1897 in New Harmony, Utah. Harvey Alexander PACE was born 12 OCT 1833 in Murfreesboro, Rutherford, Tennessee, and died 4 DEC 1917 in New Harmony,Utah.

John Hardison Pace died 2 NOV 1922 in Price, Carbon, Utah.
He married Paulina Dorothea BRYNER 25 DEC 1876. She was born 2 DEC 1857 in Lehi, Utah, and died 26 FEB 1921 in Price, Utah.
Their daughter Elizabeth Mary Pace came on the trail with them. She was born in 1878 and died 1908. She was the oldest of their 12 children.

1878 John Hardison Pace of New Harmony was called to help settle Bluff, Ut. and was part of the Hole In The Rock expedition.
